Introduction
PomoFish ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information. By using PomoFish, you also agree to our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Access
1.1 App Settings & Data (Stored Locally)
Your preferences like timer focus settings, FishDex progress, coins earned, and app configurations are stored only on your device and never leave it. There is no cloud sync or account creation required.
1.2 Screen Time
We use Apple's Screen Time framework to block selected apps during focus sessions. This process occurs entirely on your device and is restricted by Apple's strict privacy guidelines. We do not transmit or view your specific app usage.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- Name, email, or contact information
- Location or GPS data
- Device identifiers for tracking purposes
- Contacts, calendar, or photos
- Browsing history
3. Third-Party Services
3.1 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and paywalls. RevenueCat may collect:
- Subscription status and purchase history
- Device type and OS version
- Paywall interaction events (anonymized analytics)
RevenueCat does not receive any personally identifiable information from your usage inside the app. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
3.2 PostHog (Analytics)
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics (e.g., feature usage, timer completions) to improve the app. Data is processed on PostHog's EU servers. No personal information or location data is collected. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
3.3 Apple Services
We integrate with Apple StoreKit and FamilyControls (Screen Time), which operate under Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage
Your personal data and app settings are stored locally on your device. There is no cloud sync, and no account creation is required. Anonymous analytics data is processed as described in Section 3.
5. Data Deletion
Uninstalling the app removes all app data. You can manage Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings under Screen Time.
6. Children's Privacy
PomoFish is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any account or personal data to function.
7. Your Rights
All Users:
- Access all your data within the app
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
EU Users (GDPR):
- Rights to access, rectification, erasure, and portability apply
- Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control
California Users (CCPA):
- We do not sell personal information
- Right to know and delete applies via the app controls described above
8. Changes to This Policy
We will indicate changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
